St. Elmo Wilken was awarded the Dow Discovery Fellowship by the Chemical Engineering Department at UCSB. The Fellows are selected by the Chemical Engineering faculty as a whole; only two outstanding graduate students who have advanced to candidacy are awarded the Fellowship based on merit, academic standing, and faculty recommendations. The fellowship will begin Fall 2017 and continue for three years. Congratulations, St. Elmo!
